Privacy
Who we are
Logiku is a daily nonogram site, operated by its owner from Croatia. For this policy, the controller of your data is Logiku. Questions about this policy or your data go to privacy@playlogiku.com.
Data we collect
- Account email, when sign-in supplies one. Signing in through Steam supplies a Steam ID and avatar instead, and no email.
- Your handle, the name shown on leaderboards, profiles, and replays.
- Your country, if you set one, and your settings and notification preferences.
- Your solves and, for ranked duels, replays. Ranked replays and profiles are public by design.
- Your rating history, league results, arena results, and creator submissions.
- Payment records: that a payment happened, its amount, currency, and status. Card and wallet details are held by our payment processors, never by us.
- Push notification subscriptions, one for each device you have opted in.
- Server logs: technical records of requests and errors, which can include your account ID.
Why we collect it
- To run the game you signed up for: your account, solves, replays, ratings, payments, and sign-in emails. This is the contract between us.
- To keep the game fair and the service working: anti-cheat checks on replays, security, and error logs. This is our legitimate interest.
- Because you asked for them: the daily reminder email, the league result email, and push notifications. Each one is off until you turn it on in Settings. This is consent, and you can withdraw it there at any time.
Cookies and device storage
- A session cookie keeps you signed in. It is essential and does no tracking.
- A theme cookie, logiku-theme, remembers paper or night on this device for up to one year.
- Before you create an account, your solves and streak live only in your browser, under the localStorage key logiku.anon.v2. Nothing is sent to us until you sign in and that state merges into your account, at which point the browser copy is erased. Signing out erases it too, so the next person at this browser starts clean.
- There are no advertising trackers and no third-party analytics scripts.
Who we share it with
Four outside processors, each handling only the one job listed:
- Paddle, the merchant of record for card payments. Paddle holds your card details; we never see or store them.
- NOWPayments, for crypto payments.
- Resend, for email: sign-in links, the daily reminder, and league result notices, the last two only if you turn them on in Settings.
- Sentry, for error reporting. A crash report can include technical request details from the moment it happened.
The site and its database run on a server we operate. We do not sell your data, and we do not share it for advertising.
International transfers
Some of the processors above operate outside the European Economic Area. Where they do, the transfer rests on the safeguards in their data processing terms, such as the EU standard contractual clauses. We send each of them only what its job requires.
How long we keep it
Account, solve, replay, rating, payment, and entitlement data is kept for as long as your account exists. Deleting your account removes all of it at once. That deletion is immediate and permanent.
Two things stay behind, anonymized, with your name detached: your ranked duel results, because the other player's rating depends on them, and any community puzzles you published, because other players' prints depend on them.
Paddle and NOWPayments keep their own transaction records under their own policies, as the law requires of them. Deleting your account here does not reach into their books.
Server logs are kept no longer than we need them to run and secure the service. The anonymous localStorage state stays on your device until you or your browser clear it.
Your rights
- Access and portability: Export your data in Settings downloads a copy of your account and solves.
- Rectification: change your handle in Settings; email us for anything else on your account.
- Erasure: the delete account action in Settings removes your account and its data. Email works too.
- Objection and withdrawal: turn any notification off in Settings, or write to us to object to a use based on legitimate interest.
- Complaint: you can complain to the Croatian data protection authority, AZOP, at azop.hr, or to the supervisory authority where you live in the EU.
